People, placemaking, and design have defined my career. I am enthusiastic about bringing brands and places to life, using design‑led thinking to drive commercial success. I enjoy helping our people grow and develop as much as I do the many enduring client and project partnerships we’ve established over the years. It is rewarding to see our unique design‑delivered approach evident in many of our major accomplishments, building our reputation for project excellence across New Zealand. I also serve as President of the NZ Retail Interiors Association, which is committed to connecting and strengthening the design and fitout community, and I have a keen interest in advancing sustainable design and fitout practices.

Designing the Future of Work
The office is no longer. The entire city, country and world are now the new workplace.
Connectivity is everywhere. Collaboration, creativity and culture are the leading drivers for high performing enterprises.
Two of the largest cost components of any business are people and property. If the people aren’t enabled, productivity will suffer. If the property is sized wrongly or dysfunctional, cost is lost. A workplace can be anywhere, but we still need to gather, work together and share a sense of tribe and purpose – this is the essence of the modern workplace. A place which provides well considered functional areas for unique businesses to produce, serve and thrive.
A people-centric arrangement of spaces enabling wellness and inclusivity.
At Tailor Inc., we believe the workplace can be more than the sum of its parts, it can also be beautiful, with a character of its own.
Welcome to Tailor Inc. Workplace.
On select projects supporting Kevin is our delivery team, working thoughtfully behind the scenes to anticipate what’s needed at every stage.
From guiding costs and coordinating procurement to helping plan a seamless transition, we take care of the details so the process feels considered, clear, and well supported.
Allowing your new workplace to unfold smoothly and with confidence, now and into the future.

I bring deep expertise in interiors and procurement, providing strong studio leadership to ensure our clients get the highest quality design services. I’m driven by a passion for our industry and a commitment to nurturing the designers who will shape its future.

Andrew Boshra
Project Manager
I bring a mix of commercial know-how, hands-on construction experience, and leadership to Tailor Inc. My career started in remedial construction, where I learned how to problem-solve in challenging conditions, quickly moving from Quantity Surveyor to Project Manager with a main contractor. Now working client-side, I'm known for being proactive and disciplined when managing operational and commercial risk. I build strong, genuine relationships and work hard to cut through the complexity, keep things moving, and deliver real value for my clients.

Common Questions
Sustainability
What sustainability options should I consider for my project?
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse varius enim in eros elementum tristique. Duis cursus, mi quis viverra ornare, eros dolor interdum nulla, ut commodo diam libero vitae erat. Aenean faucibus nibh et justo cursus id rutrum lorem imperdiet. Nunc ut sem vitae risus tristique posuere.
In New Zealand, sustainable building and fitout approaches are shaped by local climate conditions, national regulations, and certification frameworks such as Green Star and NABERSNZ. Key considerations include energy efficiency, low‑carbon materials, effective waste reduction and construction practices. As members of the NZ Green Building Council, with accredited Green Star practitioners and professionals, we work with you and the project team to develop strategies targeting your sustainability objectives.
Regulation
When is a Building Consent required?
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse varius enim in eros elementum tristique. Duis cursus, mi quis viverra ornare, eros dolor interdum nulla, ut commodo diam libero vitae erat. Aenean faucibus nibh et justo cursus id rutrum lorem imperdiet. Nunc ut sem vitae risus tristique posuere.
Following is a brief overview of works that are likely to trigger a Building Consent.
Structural changes - Any work that alters the building’s framework, load‑bearing walls, or foundations.
Fire safety systems - Installing, altering, or removing fire alarms, sprinklers, or evacuation systems.
Plumbing and drainage - Changes to water supply, wastewater, or stormwater systems.
Commercial fitouts - Interior changes (e.g., partitions, ceilings, HVAC systems) if they affect fire safety, accessibility, or compliance with the Building Code.
Extensions or new builds: Any new commercial building or permanent extension to the existing building envelope.
Change of use: If the building’s purpose changes (e.g., warehouse to office, or office to retail), consent is usually required to ensure compliance with safety and accessibility standards.
Regulation
When is Resource Consent required?
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse varius enim in eros elementum tristique. Duis cursus, mi quis viverra ornare, eros dolor interdum nulla, ut commodo diam libero vitae erat. Aenean faucibus nibh et justo cursus id rutrum lorem imperdiet. Nunc ut sem vitae risus tristique posuere.
A resource consent is required whenever your project is not already a permitted activity under the regional plan - particularly for land use changes, subdivision, or activities with environmental or infrastructure impacts. We can undertake a review of the property file, zoning and project proposal to identify any red flags.
Costing
Do you provide project cost estimates or guidance for budgeting?
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse varius enim in eros elementum tristique. Duis cursus, mi quis viverra ornare, eros dolor interdum nulla, ut commodo diam libero vitae erat. Aenean faucibus nibh et justo cursus id rutrum lorem imperdiet. Nunc ut sem vitae risus tristique posuere.
Once the size, scope of works, and quality of specification is understood we can prepare an estimate of probable project costs. This can be used to form the overall project budget. At the conceptual phase, we may also obtain cost estimates from contractors to help guide decision making in the later phases of design.
Process
Do you provide test fits for site and spatial planning?
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse varius enim in eros elementum tristique. Duis cursus, mi quis viverra ornare, eros dolor interdum nulla, ut commodo diam libero vitae erat. Aenean faucibus nibh et justo cursus id rutrum lorem imperdiet. Nunc ut sem vitae risus tristique posuere.
Yes. We recommend undertaking spatial planning or a site‑massing exercise before signing a new lease or committing to the acquisition of any space or property. Our design team can develop efficient conceptual planning options based on your current and future requirements, helping you determine the most effective use of the site. We also assess services, amenities, and planning considerations that may influence the proposed use, commercial viability, and overall experience, highlighting potential scenarios and hidden costs. This provides you with greater confidence when making informed property decisions.
Process
Do you work with other Consultants?
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse varius enim in eros elementum tristique. Duis cursus, mi quis viverra ornare, eros dolor interdum nulla, ut commodo diam libero vitae erat. Aenean faucibus nibh et justo cursus id rutrum lorem imperdiet. Nunc ut sem vitae risus tristique posuere.
Yes. Our team has a wide network and collaborates regularly with other consultants and contractors of all types across New Zealand. We're happy to make recommendations or an introduction, and to procure these services on the client's behalf, whatever is best for the project.
Process
How long will the project take?
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse varius enim in eros elementum tristique. Duis cursus, mi quis viverra ornare, eros dolor interdum nulla, ut commodo diam libero vitae erat. Aenean faucibus nibh et justo cursus id rutrum lorem imperdiet. Nunc ut sem vitae risus tristique posuere.
Every project follows a unique timeline, which we can establish after an initial meeting with you. Several factors influence programme, including whether Resource or Building Consents are required, whether you would like the building contract tendered, lead times on equipment or fittings, and the need for any third‑party approvals. By clarifying these elements early, we can provide a realistic timeframe for your project.

What types of Project Management does Tailor Inc offer?

1. Project Management
Acting for the Principal, Tailor Inc Project Managers administer contract conditions and perform the roles of Contact Administrator and Independent Certifier - comprehensive project management for NZS3910 and NZS3916 building contracts. The roles can include early-stage project strategy and planning, feasibility, consultant and contractor procurement, design, compliance, cost management, project administration, and full project life cycle services.
2. Retail Project Management
For brands with retail, hospitality, or workplace projects, this PM service focuses on fit-outs rather than full builds. These projects are often multi-site or repetitive in nature, they evolve quickly, and require flexibility, overlapping scheduling, compressed programmes, for strict adherence to trading deadlines, along with landlord and base build coordination.
The Retail PM role is highly dynamic and hands-on, particularly leading up to opening. The Retail Project Manager works closely with the client to support operational readiness while ensuring the contractor’s obligations relating to time, cost, quality, and compliance are effectively managed and documented.
A well-administered works order or small works building contract with agreed special conditions is typically suitable.
3. Tenancy Delivery
Acting for the Landlord, Tailor Inc have developed a proven and user‑friendly system for tenant fit-outs involving tenancy coordination, admin support, and design management. Each discipline plays a role in guiding and managing the tenant and their team through the design and fit-out process, in accordance with the Agreement to Lease and the property Fitout Manual. Our in‑house system is suitable for both established retail centres and new developments, where delivering anywhere from 1 to 100 fit-outs is critical to achieving trade and rent commencement.
Every stage is closely managed, from the introduction to design reviews, landlord approvals, compliance, health & safety, and coordination of base‑build services, landlord works, and interfaces.
