Tailor Inc designers collaborated with Adidas on an ambitious project to create a retail space that showcased their All Blacks and Silver Ferns high-performance exercise apparel, sportswear, and footwear.

Located airside at the Auckland International Airport, the site presented unique challenges due to complex service requirements and an intricate shopfront design. The striking black faceted perforated metal shopfront was manufactured abroad, and shipped to New Zealand for installation by the contractor, Dimension Shopfitters.

Inside, a grid ceiling structure housed track lighting, with a feature silver fern pendant serving as the store’s focal point. Ensuring optimal visibility into the store from all angles was a keypriority for Adidas.

The end result was a bold and impactful retailstore design, delivering a successful outcome for everyone involved.
