Celebrating Gold at the Best Design Awards

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate our talented Tailor Inc graduate, Grace Wright, who has been awarded Gold at the Best Design Awards in the Student & Academic Spatial category.

Grace’s award-winning project, Whero Whero, is a contemporary wharekai in Tāmaki Makaurau that explores the relationship between two cultural perspectives through architecture and spatial design.

The project creates a space that honours traditional Māori kai and preparation, while acknowledging the significance of mātauranga Māori within the evolving architectural landscape of Aotearoa.

It's fantastic to see emerging design talent recognised at this level, and we're thrilled to have Grace as part of the Tailor team.
