Goodman Properties were looking to relocate within the Viaduct precinct in Auckland and secured the top floor of the new 6 Greenstar rated Beca Building. Tailor Inc was selected as design and furniture supply partners to the project alongside RBW project managers and Beca.

Optioneering and exploration of layout variations was extensive, with the placement of the Boardroom, Social Hub and workspaceareas being paramount. A wide variety of meeting areas were created ranging from internal rooms to a multiuse area in the prime corner with views over the Auckland Harbour Bridge and beyond.

 Materials chosen reflect a diversity of functional areas or ‘islands’ within the workplace, from beaten metal cladding on the utilities area through to recycled timber cubes on the locker zone. The social hub has a café-like atmosphere integrating decorative brick into structural columns and views back to the city and over the waters of the viaduct.

The Goodman HQ workplace represents the very best post-covid attributes of versatility, multiple workstyle choice and a sense of coming home.
