Forsyth Barr is one of New Zealand’s leading wealth management advisors, with workplaces and dealing rooms located throughout the country.
In Tauranga, an exciting tenancy opportunity emerged within the new Northern Quarter Building on The Strand, offering expansive views across Tauranga Harbour.
Partnering with Fitout Solutions Limited, Tailor Inc. explored multiple planning options, ultimately landing on a layout centred around a generous, view-facing client function room and social hub. Large-format glass partitions were introduced to bring natural light and harbour views deep into the work areas. Internal client meeting rooms were designed with premium acoustic treatments, including innovative wall tiles made from plant fibre and agricultural waste.
The material palette is warm and inviting, pairing natural timbers with deep blue 3D acoustic ceiling elements—an intentional nod to the rich, coastal environment surrounding Tauranga Harbour.
