Tailor Inc. initially worked alongside the client to develop two comprehensive design packages for alternative properties, to assist in their decision as to whether to retain their existing premises or move to a new location in the CBD. Consideration was taken to address staff, client, and company needs. The process included daylight and view studies, spatial zoning, layouts, accommodation schedules, and high-level cost estimates from a trusted contractor, all presented to stakeholders for review.
Once the decision had been made by their business to retain their current workplace, Tailor Inc conducted a detailed workplace strategy, examining operations, team aspirations, and the constraints of a heritage building. Insights from this analysis informed a tailored design response, accompanied by detailed documentation. The project team then initiated physical works, engaging a single preferred contractor early to ensure value and efficiency.
The four-floor heritage building fitout began in May 2023, with an expected six-month timeline, completed seamlessly without relocating the client.
